"Arizona offers the kind of ethnic diversity and multigenerational opportunities that this program can benefit from, and I believe that within the Guild, we can create interest and cultivate educators, leaders and volunteers to promote quilting to new generations."

Rita Blocksom, AQG President, 2004-2006

The Quilt Quest curriculum is currently being piloted in the state of Arizona through the collaborative efforts of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and the Arizona Quilters Guild. This partnership serves as a model for quilt guilds across the U.S.

Utilizing the new Nebraska 4-H curriculum, Quilt Quest, AQG has organized a wide array of opportunities to promote the fine art of quilting to Arizona's youth and indeed to the benefit of all of Arizona's quilters.

Dr. Patricia Fairchild and Dr. Diane Vigna from the University of Nebraska host the Nebraska 4-H Quilt Quest booth at the Annual AQG Show in Glendale, AZ.
